Product Description

The McLeod 6335825M is an RXT Street Twin Power Pack clutch kit designed for 2011-2017 Ford Mustang GT and 2012-2013 BOSS 302 models equipped with the 5.0L Coyote V8 and MT-82 6-speed manual transmission. Rated to hold 1,000 horsepower, the twin-disc design splits clamping force across two ceramic-faced friction discs and a floater plate, providing massive holding capacity while keeping pedal effort light and engagement smooth enough for daily street driving. The ceramic friction material resists fade under sustained high-temperature use, making the RXT equally capable on the drag strip as it is in stop-and-go traffic. A multiple strap retention system eliminates the floater plate rattle common in twin-disc setups, further improving street manners. The included billet aluminum flywheel bolts directly to the 8-bolt modular crankshaft flange and significantly reduces rotating mass compared to the factory steel unit, sharpening throttle response and decreasing drivetrain losses. The complete Power Pack ships as a single part number with the pressure plate, both clutch discs, floater plate, flywheel, and pilot tool -- everything needed for installation except the throwout bearing, which is reused from the factory setup or can be upgraded separately.
