Product Description

The McLeod 6405807M is an RXT Street Twin disc clutch kit with billet steel flywheel for GM LSA and LS-X 8-bolt crank retrofit applications -- the ceramic (BRZ) disc upgrade from the organic 6405807 RST. Where the RST handles 800 HP with organic discs, the RXT's ceramic/BRZ facing increases torque capacity to 1,000 HP while retaining the smooth engagement and soft pedal effort that makes it suitable for street and strip use rather than dedicated competition. The "M" suffix designates the ceramic disc variant (as opposed to the plain 6405807 with organic discs).

The 8-bolt crank variant is for T56 Magnum and TKX transmission applications -- not for OEM CTS-V, ZL1, or Corvette transaxle setups (those require 6406807M). Flywheel must be resurfaced with a coarse stone-ground finish before installation. Break-in requires 500-750 miles of stop-and-go city driving before WOT or drag use. Retrofit applications only. 90-day limited warranty.
