Product Description

The McLeod 6405807 is an RST Street Twin disc clutch kit with included billet steel flywheel for GM LSA and LS-X crate engine retrofit applications using an 8-bolt crank flange and 1-1/8" x 26-spline transmission input shaft. The RST Street Twin is McLeod's entry-level twin disc offering -- designed for street enthusiasts who need to handle 800 HP reliably without giving up the smooth engagement and soft pedal effort of a single disc street clutch. Organic/organic disc facings keep engagement progressive and forgiving, making the RST appropriate for daily street use where the RXT (ceramic) and RXT 1200 HD would be reserved for track environments.

The 8-bolt crank variant (6405807) is for T56, T56 Magnum, and TR6060 transmission applications -- not for OEM Corvette transaxle applications, which require the 6406807. Flywheel must be resurfaced before installation using a coarse stone-ground finish. Break-in is mandatory: 500-750 miles of stop-and-go city driving with no WOT, dyno runs, or drag launches until complete. Not for competition use. 90-day limited warranty.
