Fitment Notes

• 6-bolt LS crank flange ONLY - this kit is designed for GM's 6-bolt LS crank family (LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7); it is NOT compatible with the 8-bolt crank used in the LSA (2012-2015 Camaro ZL1, 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V) or Gen V LT1/LT4 engines - see McLeod 6406807 for those applications
• Input shaft: 1-1/8 in. (1.125 in.) x 26-spline - confirm your manual transmission input shaft diameter and spline count before ordering; this kit is not compatible with 10-spline input shafts (see McLeod 6405504 for 10-spline applications)
• Aluminum flywheel included - the included billet aluminum flywheel is 0-balance (internally balanced); for externally balanced engine variants, order the McLeod Flywheel Counterbalance Weight Kit (#560222) separately
• Throwout bearing NOT included - a compatible throwout/release bearing must be ordered separately; McLeod recommends replacing the throwout bearing at every clutch installation
• Pilot bushing NOT included - verify your transmission input shaft pilot bushing and replace as needed during installation
• May require a master cylinder upgrade - the hydraulic clutch system must use a master cylinder with a minimum 13/16 in. bore diameter for proper clutch release; smaller OEM bore cylinders may result in incomplete clutch disengagement

The McLeod Racing 6305507 is a complete RST Street Twin disc clutch kit for 1997-2013 GM LS-X engines with a 6-bolt crank and 1-1/8 in. x 26-spline manual transmission input shaft. It is the entry-level unit in McLeod's RST/RXT twin disc lineup, designed specifically for high-horsepower street builds - up to 800 crank horsepower - where full twin disc torque capacity is needed but everyday street drivability cannot be compromised. Primary applications include the C5 and C6 Corvette, the 2010-2013 Camaro SS, the Pontiac Firebird (LS1), the Pontiac GTO, and the G8 GXP, all with manual transmissions.

The kit ships as a ready-to-install complete package: a billet aluminum flywheel (CNC-machined, anodized, 168-tooth ring gear, 6-bolt LS pattern, 0 balance), a diaphragm pressure plate, two 9-11/16 in. organic friction discs with sprung hubs, a Blanchard ground floater plate with multiple straps for noise reduction, and a clutch alignment tool. The organic disc facing across both discs is the defining characteristic of the RST series - delivering smooth, modulated clutch engagement with a lighter-than-stock pedal feel. For builds requiring ceramic discs, higher clamping loads, and track-capable duty cycles, McLeod offers the RXT (6305507M, 1,000 hp) and RXT 1200 (6305507HD, 1,200 hp) in this same 6-bolt LS / aluminum flywheel configuration.

WARNING: Key installation requirements: A throwout (release) bearing is NOT included and must be sourced separately - McLeod recommends replacing this at every clutch installation. A pilot bushing is also not included. The hydraulic clutch system requires a master cylinder with a minimum 13/16 in. bore diameter - smaller OEM bore cylinders may not provide sufficient fluid volume for complete clutch disengagement. For externally balanced LS engines, the McLeod Flywheel Counterbalance Weight Kit (#560222) must be ordered separately.
