The McLeod 6405807MD RST HD Twin Disc Clutch Kit is engineered for 2009-2026 GM LS-X retrofit applications using an 8-bolt crankshaft. Unlike a vehicle-specific replacement clutch, this assembly is intended for performance builds where the engine, transmission and drivetrain configuration have been converted or otherwise configured for the required 1-1/8-inch x 26-spline input and 168-tooth flywheel.

The RST HD uses a hybrid twin-disc design combining organic and segmented ceramic friction surfaces. This configuration provides strong torque-holding capability while maintaining smooth, street-friendly engagement and manageable pedal effort. The included billet steel flywheel provides durability for high-output LS-X applications and is matched to the required 8-bolt crankshaft and 168-tooth ring gear.

Rated for up to 950 horsepower, the 6405807MD is suited to high-performance street, drag and road-course builds.
