MBRP's Armor Lite Race Cat-Back Exhaust gives the modern S197 Mustang the aggressive exhaust note of a classic muscle car, specifically tuned to extract maximum volume from the 3-valve V8 at both idle and wide-open throttle. Can-style race mufflers paired with 3" mandrel-bent tubing deliver almost zero restriction and reduced weight versus the factory system, unlocking real gains -- GT and Bullitt models see +3 HP and +6 lb-ft at the rear wheels, while the supercharged Shelby GT500 sees a substantial +41 HP and +25 lb-ft.

Built from 16-gauge heavy-duty aluminized steel suitable for track use (though not intended for winter driving on salted roads), the system finishes with 4" polished T304 stainless steel slant-cut tips embossed with the MBRP logo. CNC mandrel bends ensure a perfect fit with no interference or rubbing, and all required clamps and jig-welded hangers are included for an easy install.
