Product Description

The MaxTrac K883042A is a cost-effective 4-inch front / 2-inch rear lift kit built specifically for 1998-2000 Ford Ranger 2WD trucks with coil spring front suspension. Rather than requiring expensive, labor-intensive crossmember replacement and factory frame modifications, MaxTrac achieves the front lift by lowering the wheel hub position within a factory-height spindle - raising the truck while keeping the ride and turning radius close to stock.

The rear is leveled out with a 2-inch lift shackle, giving the truck a balanced, evenly lifted stance rather than a front-heavy or rear-sagging look. Beyond the added height, the front spindles also widen the track by about half an inch, opening up additional clearance for larger wheels and tires - the kit clears up to a 31x10.50 tire on a 7-to-8-inch-wide rim.

This is a solid, budget-friendly option for Ranger owners who want a real lift without the cost of a full 4WD-style suspension system. Since it's built specifically for coil spring models with 10.250-inch rotors, it won't work on torsion bar trucks or those with electronic stability control - worth double-checking your Ranger's exact configuration before ordering. As with all MaxTrac kits, professional installation and a post-install alignment check are recommended.
