Product Description

The MaxTrac 100520H is a set of 2-inch front lowering drop spindles designed for 1988-1998 Chevrolet and GMC C1500 2WD pickups as well as 1992-1999 Tahoe, Yukon, and Suburban 2WD models equipped with 1.25-inch thick brake rotors. For vehicles with 1-inch thick rotors, MaxTrac offers the 100520L. These drop spindles provide a clean 2-inch front drop through a direct bolt-on installation that requires no cutting or modification to the vehicle. Constructed from one-piece ductile steel, the spindles exceed OEM quality standards while maintaining the factory alignment geometry and stock ride quality. The drop spindle design lowers the vehicle by relocating the spindle mounting point rather than altering spring rate or suspension travel, preserving the full range of factory suspension articulation. If running 15-inch wheels with these spindles, the lower control arm may contact the wheel and require trimming for clearance -- this is not recommended, has not been tested, and is performed at the owner's risk against MaxTrac's recommendation. Wheels 16 inches or larger are recommended for proper clearance. These spindles are commonly used as part of MaxTrac's complete lowering kits including the KS330524 (2/4" drop), KS330535 (3/5" drop), and K330546 (4/6" drop).
