Product Description

The MaxTrac 1800LL-4 rear shock absorber is engineered for classic GM 2WD pickups and modern 1500 series trucks that have been lowered with a rear drop of approximately 7 inches. Its twin-tube, gas-charged design delivers reliable damping performance, improved handling, and reduced bounce compared to worn factory shocks - all while maintaining ride comfort. Constructed with a rugged steel body and corrosion-resistant black finish, the 1800LL-4 stands up to daily driving and aftermarket suspension setups alike.

Fitments include 1973-1987 Chevrolet and GMC C10 trucks with significant rear drop installations, as well as 2007-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks running similar lowered rear suspension configurations. Shock installation requires orienting the shaft toward the top and using the included sleeves for correct mounting. Sold individually - for full axle replacement, two shocks are recommended.
