• Fits 1-piece driveshaft models only - does NOT fit 2-piece driveshaft models
• Does NOT fit Sierra 1500 Denali
• Does NOT fit models equipped with MagneRide suspension

• Requires 18" rims or larger - smaller wheels may require ball joint trimming

Product Description

The MaxTrac KC331546-8 is a complete 4"/6" lowering kit engineered for the 2016-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 in Extended Cab and Crew Cab configurations, covering both 2WD and 4WD. The front drops 4" through a combination of 2" drop spindles and 2" lowering coils - the dual-method approach preserves factory-like ride quality and steering geometry better than relying on coil-only drops alone. The Extended/Crew Cab-specific coils ensure correct spring rate and proportioning for longer wheelbase models. The rear drops 6" via a complete axle flip kit that relocates the rear axle above the leaf spring pack, paired with new hangers, shackles, and matched MaxTrac rear shocks.

Installation requires no drilling and all components are bolt-on. The "-8" suffix designates this as the Extended/Crew Cab version - Single Cab owners should use KC331546-6 instead. This kit requires 18" or larger wheels and is compatible with Stamped Steel or Cast Aluminum control arm models only. It does not fit Denali, MagneRide-equipped trucks, 2-piece driveshaft models, diesel-engine applications, or Cast Steel suspension arm models. An alignment check is required after installation.
