Product Description

The MaxTrac 223203 is a front adjustable lowering strut engineered specifically for the 2015-2025 Ford F-150 2WD. Debuted at the 2016 SEMA Show, this strut was designed from the ground up as a purpose-built improvement over competing lowering struts - featuring a heavier-diameter main shaft, upgraded bushing rubber, and a durable black powder-coat finish. Unlike fixed-drop struts, the 223203 uses a machined snap ring and retainer collar on the coil seat to allow the drop height to be set anywhere from 0" to 3" in precise 0.5" increments. This means the strut can be re-adjusted multiple times to dial in the exact ride height without purchasing a new strut, making it an extremely flexible and cost-effective solution for street truck builds. The factory coil spring is retained in all configurations, preserving OEM spring rates and ride quality at your chosen drop setting.

Compatible with all cab configurations - Regular Cab, SuperCab, and SuperCrew - and all engine variants including the 2.7L EcoBoost, 3.5L EcoBoost, 3.3L V6, 5.0L V8, and 3.0L Power Stroke diesel across the 2015-2025 model range, the 223203 requires no trim-specific ordering. This strut is also designed to work in combination with MaxTrac drop spindles, MaxTrac lowering coils, and McGaughys spindles or drop springs for builds targeting drops greater than 3". Fitment is strictly limited to 2WD (RWD) F-150 models - this strut is not compatible with 4WD trucks, the Raptor, Tremor, Hybrid/CCD suspension models, or F-150 Lightning.

Two struts are required for a complete front drop; this listing is for one (1) individual strut. A professional front-end alignment is required after installation at any drop setting - this is a condition of the MaxTrac warranty and is critical for proper tire wear and vehicle handling. At maximum 3" of drop, the vehicle may experience a firmer ride and alignment may be more difficult to achieve within factory spec; a drop of 1"-2.5" is typically recommended for daily-driven builds to balance stance and drivability. MaxTrac covers this strut under its limited lifetime structural warranty (excluding bushings, bump stops, and shock components, which carry a 12-month warranty).
