Product Description

The MagnaFlow 99305HM is an HM Grade Federal/EPA compliant universal catalytic converter engineered for professional exhaust shop installation across a broad range of European and domestic import applications sharing a common 2.25" exhaust pipe diameter. As a universal converter, the 99305HM requires pipe cutting, fitting, and welding to complete the installation - it is not a drop-in direct-fit replacement - but this also gives installers flexibility in exact positioning, orientation, and exhaust routing that a direct-fit converter cannot provide.

The HM Grade designation places this converter above MagnaFlow's Standard Grade line, engineered to match the thermal durability and conversion efficiency expected from original equipment catalysts on the supported applications. The 3-way ceramic substrate simultaneously reduces hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen oxides through MagnaFlow's proprietary catalyst blend, formulated to maintain conversion efficiency across the full range of operating temperatures seen in normal street driving. The round clam-shell body is ribbed to minimize thermal expansion and distortion and holds the ceramic catalyst brick in correct alignment throughout its service life.

Construction uses 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing throughout, joined by 308 stainless steel MIG welds.
