The MagnaFlow 23453 HM-Grade Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter is designed for select GM full-size trucks and SUVs from 1996-2000 (including C/K1500, Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade) and replaces the factory converter with an EPA-compliant, bolt-on unit. Built with premium stainless steel construction, mandrel-bent tubing, and a high-metal catalytic media, it offers improved durability and emissions performance compared to stock components.

Because this converter retains the factory mounting pattern and includes all necessary hardware, installation is straightforward--no custom cutting or fabrication is required when fitted to the correct vehicle application. It is important to verify engine displacement, O2 sensor placement and that the vehicle is not registered in a state requiring CARB compliance (this unit is not CARB-legal).
