Product Description

The MagnaFlow 23759 is an HM Grade direct-fit catalytic converter designed for the front position on 2000-2004 Toyota Tacoma and Tundra models equipped with the 3.4L V6 (5VZ-FE) engine. The HM Grade designation indicates additional catalyst loading beyond standard replacement converters, providing enhanced emissions conversion efficiency and helping to keep the check engine light off. The converter body is constructed from stainless steel in a clam-shell configuration with a ribbed exterior that controls thermal expansion, protects the internal cushioning mat, and maintains proper alignment of the ceramic honeycomb substrate. Mandrel-bent stainless steel inlet and outlet tubing ensures unrestricted exhaust flow through the converter. MagnaFlow's metrology department uses 3D scanning during the design process to replicate OE geometry, guaranteeing bolt-on fitment with no cutting or welding required.
