Fitment Notes

• Sold individually - two struts are required for a complete front axle replacement. Order two units for a full front installation.
• Position: Front (left and right sides use the same part number - this unit fits both sides).
• Designed for the sport-tuned front MacPherson strut suspension used on the SVO and 5.0L V8 Fox body Mustangs - not intended for base 4-cylinder Fox body Mustangs, which use a different strut specification.
• Factory shock mounting bolts are reused during installation. All included washers, bushings, and hardware are new.
• Shock boots are not included and are sold separately. KYB recommends strut boot part number SB103 to protect the strut rod from dirt, debris, and road salt.
• To reduce noise and vibration, KYB recommends replacing strut mounts at the same time. KYB strut mount part number SM5036 is compatible with this application.
• A professional wheel alignment is required after strut installation to restore correct camber, caster, and toe settings.
