The KYB 5640020 MonoMax is a high-performance front shock absorber engineered for the Ford F-150 Lightning. Its high-pressure monotube construction is designed to provide responsive damping and improved suspension control, while the large-diameter piston and hardened 1/2-inch piston rod provide the strength and durability expected from a truck-oriented performance shock.

The MonoMax design separates gas and oil to help reduce aeration and maintain consistent damping during demanding operation. KYB's floating-piston design automatically responds to changing suspension movement, making the shock suitable for trucks subjected to towing, hauling, larger wheel and tire packages, or other demanding driving conditions.
