Product Description

The Koyo HH010860N is a full-replacement all-aluminum performance radiator engineered specifically for the 1996-2001 Toyota Chaser, Cresta, and 1996-2000 Mark II on the JZX100 platform equipped with the 1JZ-GTE 2.5L turbocharged inline-six and a manual transmission. Unlike the factory plastic-end-tank radiator, the HH010860N is constructed entirely from aluminum - hand-assembled, Nocolok furnace brazed, and hand Heliarc (TIG) welded - offering dramatically improved durability and thermal performance. The 48mm HH Series core features an ultra-high fin density that maximizes airflow-to-coolant contact, while Koyo's proprietary N-Flo dual-pass technology routes coolant through the radiator in two passes rather than one, increasing the time coolant spends in the core and significantly improving heat rejection.

Installation is straightforward with no cutting, drilling, or modification required. Koyo engineers designed the HH010860N as a true direct-fit replacement, retaining all factory fan shroud mounting points, inlet and outlet hose positions, and upper/lower mounting pin locations. A precision-machined billet aluminum filler neck replaces the OE plastic unit for better sealing and long-term reliability. The integrated 1/8" NPT accessory port allows convenient installation of aftermarket coolant temperature gauges - an essential upgrade for any performance-built JZX100. The threaded plug is included to cap the port if a sensor is not being used.

This radiator is intended for manual transmission JZX100 applications only. Automatic transmission vehicles require an external transmission cooler, as the OE automatic transmission fluid cooling circuit routed through the stock radiator is not replicated in this all-aluminum unit. For JZX100 owners running high-boost 1JZ-GTE builds, track days, or spirited street driving, the HH010860N provides the thermal capacity and reliability needed to keep coolant temperatures in check where the stock radiator falls short.
