Fitment Notes

• CRITICAL: Does NOT fit vehicles equipped with air conditioning (AC) - the full-size core occupies the space normally used by the AC condenser
• Manual Transmission (MT) ONLY - does NOT fit automatic transmission Civic variants
• DOHC engines only - 32mm inlet and outlet hoses required; confirm your engine uses 32mm DOHC radiator hoses before ordering
• CRITICAL: Factory OEM radiator cap WILL NOT fit - must use Koyo SKC-13 radiator cap, sold separately
• Full-size radiator - expands into the AC condenser space for maximum core area; optional lower driver-side mount provided for additional support if desired
• OEM DOHC radiator fan shroud and radiator hoses can be reused - no modifications required for installation on non-AC vehicles
• Optional 1/8PT coolant temperature sensor port on the upper tank - allows direct installation of an aftermarket coolant temp gauge without a sensor hose adapter

Product Description

The Koyo VH0812N1 is a full-size N1 racing radiator engineered specifically for the 1992-2000 Honda Civic EG and EK chassis running a DOHC engine (1.6L or 1.8L, including B-Series swaps) with manual transmission and no air conditioning. Originally developed for and proven in Japanese N1 Endurance Racing and Honda VTEC One Make Racing, this radiator expands the core into the full width of the engine bay - including the space normally occupied by the AC condenser - delivering over 100% more core surface area than the standard half-size factory radiator. This translates directly into dramatically improved heat capacity and endurance during sustained hard driving or track use.

The 36mm HyperCore dual-core construction uses Koyorad's Hyper V-Series fin and tube pitch, engineered for maximum surface area and airflow. The entire assembly is Nocolok brazed for exceptional structural strength and corrosion resistance. Installation on non-AC EG/EK Civics is bolt-in with no modifications required - the OEM DOHC radiator hoses and factory fan shroud are reused. An optional 1/8PT temperature sensor port on the upper tank allows direct fitment of an aftermarket coolant temp gauge. Note: the factory radiator cap is not compatible - the Koyo SKC-13 cap (sold separately) is required. This radiator is not compatible with any Civic equipped with air conditioning.
