The Koyo R022352 aluminum radiator is a high-capacity cooling upgrade engineered specifically for classic 1970-1978 Datsun S30 chassis vehicles including the 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z equipped with manual transmissions. Built around Koyorad's proven R-Series architecture, this radiator utilizes an oversized 53mm R-Core design to dramatically improve cooling efficiency and coolant capacity for both street-driven and competition-focused vehicles.

Constructed from fully brazed aluminum with precision TIG-welded end tanks, the R022352 provides superior durability and heat dissipation compared to aging factory copper-brass radiators. Its crossflow layout improves coolant circulation efficiency during sustained high-RPM operation, making it ideal for vintage race builds, restomod projects, turbocharged applications, and aggressive canyon or track driving.

This radiator is designed as a direct-fit solution for S30 chassis applications while maintaining OEM mounting locations. Due to the special crossflow configuration, the factory upper radiator hose is not compatible and a modified OEM lower hose must be used for the upper inlet connection. The radiator also omits factory fan shroud mounting provisions, making an OE-style mechanical fan setup the recommended configuration for optimal airflow and cooling performance.
