The Kooks 7010-KIT is an adapter plate kit engineered for Small Block Ford applications where headers or exhaust manifolds use the 2-3/4" diagonal bolt pattern, but the engine's cylinder head uses the stock 2" inline bolt pattern. This kit allows you to adapt headers designed for the larger diagonal spacing without modifying the engine head or the headers themselves. It's ideal for retrofits, performance header swaps, or custom exhaust packaging.

Made from 3/8" mild steel with flange plates that are approximately 5/16" thick, this kit includes the adapter plates, necessary hardware and gaskets for a secure seal. Because it doesn't replace headers or manifolds, you'll need to ensure that your specific header design clears around frame, steering, exhaust heat, etc. If properly fitted, this is a cost-effective way to expand your header options when working with Small Block Ford engines and differing bolt patterns.
