Fitment Notes

The Kooks 2161H631 is a complete long tube header and GREEN catted X-pipe connection kit for the 2006-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 (LS7 7.0L) and 2009-2013 ZR1 (LS9 6.2L supercharged). The kit pairs 2" x 3" T304 stainless long tube headers with a 3" x 3" GREEN catted stainless X-pipe that connects directly to the factory 3" Z06/ZR1 OEM exhaust or any compatible aftermarket 3" cat-back - without cutting. The factory NPP dual-mode exhaust valve function is fully preserved. The 2" primary tubes are sized specifically to maximize exhaust flow velocity and scavenging across the high-revving LS7 powerband and the LS9's supercharged power curve, with dyno-verified gains of 55-70 rear-wheel horsepower and 45-60 lb-ft of rear-wheel torque on a stock LS7 baseline - and greater gains available with camshaft upgrades and tuning.
