The KONI 8050 1001 STR.T rear shock absorber is a performance-oriented replacement rear damper for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, and Skoda vehicles from the late 1990s through 2011. This STR.T (Street) Series shock features a gas-charged, twin-tube design that improves handling response and ride comfort over standard units. Its fixed damping rate works with OEM ride heights or mild lowering springs, providing better control during daily driving and spirited street use.

Sold individually, this rear shock replaces the factory damper on compatible models including VW Beetle, Golf IV, Jetta IV, Audi A3 (8L), Seat Leon, Seat Toledo II, and Skoda Octavia I.
