The KONI 8050 1010 STR.T rear shock absorber is a street-performance oriented replacement damper engineered for classic Volkswagen rear suspension applications. Part of KONI's STR.T (Street) Series, this shock features a gas-charged, non-adjustable twin-tube design tuned to deliver improved handling response, smoother ride quality, and better road holding compared to standard factory shocks. Its fixed damping rate works well with both original ride height and mild lowering springs.

Designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for compatible models including Volkswagen Rabbit, Golf Mk1, Jetta Mk1, Scirocco Mk1/Mk2, and various Cabriolet/Rabbit Convertible variants, this shock installs easily using the standard lower eyelet and upper pin mounts.
