Product Description

The KONI 8041 1191SPORT is a Sport (Yellow) series rear shock absorber engineered for the 1994-1998 Saab 900 and 1999-2003 Saab 9-3, including the performance Viggen trim. Part of KONI's 8041 twin-tube, externally adjustable lineup, it delivers improved body motion control, reduced roll, and sharper cornering over the factory damper - while maintaining a ride quality appropriate for daily driving. The external rebound adjustment knob allows the driver to tune damping stiffness in seconds without removing the shock from the vehicle, making it easy to switch between a comfortable street setting and a firmer performance setup.

This shock is designed to work alongside aftermarket lowering springs, supporting up to 35mm of drop within its travel range. It must be installed in pairs on the rear axle - order two units for a complete rear set. Bump stops and dust boots from the OEM unit should be reused. This unit does not fit the second-generation Saab 9-3 (2003-2011), which uses a different platform and mounting configuration.
