The KONI 8040-1353SPORT Rear Sport Shock is a performance-oriented shock absorber designed to improve handling performance, control, and road feel on select Mazda and Volvo models. Part of the KONI Sport (Yellow) series, this rear shock offers adjustable rebound damping that lets drivers fine-tune handling balance and stability for spirited street driving or light performance use. Its twin-tube, gas-charged design enhances road holding and reduces body roll compared with standard OEM dampers, while still maintaining acceptable everyday comfort.

This unit fits the rear suspension of various vehicles including 2004-2012 Volvo S40 and V50 models (excluding AWD and self-leveling systems) and 2010-2013 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 equipped with the 2.3L turbo engine.
