Product Description

The KONI 8040-1390SPORT Rear Sport Shock is a performance-oriented replacement shock absorber designed to elevate handling precision, improve road feel, and reduce body motion under spirited driving conditions. Part of KONI's Sport (Yellow) series, this rear shock offers adjustable rebound damping that allows drivers to fine-tune performance to suit personal driving preferences and road conditions. Its gas-pressurized twin-tube design delivers reliable rebound control and enhanced feedback compared with standard OEM dampers while maintaining acceptable everyday comfort.

This shock fits the rear suspension of select Audi models, including 2009-2018 A4 (both sedan and Avant with standard suspension), 2008-2016 A5 (coupe and Sportback), and 2011-2018 A6 and A7 platforms, excluding vehicles with air suspension or S-line suspension packages. Sold individually, two shocks are required for a complete rear axle replacement. Pairing with moderate lowering springs (up to ~35 mm) remains compatible, but professional installation and post-alignment are recommended for optimal performance.
