The KONI 8041-1407Sport is a yellow-painted, externally adjustable rear shock absorber from KONI's Sport 8041 Series, engineered for the shared rear suspension architecture of three Honda-Acura platform families: the 2009-2014 Acura TL (all trims including SH-AWD), the 2009-2014 Acura TSX (Base, Special Edition, and V6), and the 2008-2012 Honda Accord (all trims, both Sedan and Coupe, both L4 and V6 engines). Despite covering three distinct vehicles, these platforms share the same rear multi-link suspension geometry and shock mounting specifications, allowing a single KONI part number to serve the entire group. As a Sport Series 8041 damper, the 8041-1407Sport delivers improved rear body roll resistance, reduced pitch under braking, and more composed rear axle behavior compared to OEM or worn replacement shocks.
