Product Description

The KONI 82 1389 Classic (Special D) rear shock absorber brings modern damping control to classic 1960s-70s Mustangs and mid-70s Bricklin SV-1s. Its twin-tube, non-gas hydraulic design maintains the original ride feel while giving you the ability to fine-tune rebound damping by compressing the shock off the car.

Finished in red with the iconic KONI "wing" logo (black finish also available), this shock is custom valved for OE-style ride quality and enhanced handling on vintage suspensions. It bolts in directly - no modifications needed - and is backed by KONI's lifetime warranty. Sold individually; for balanced performance, use a matching pair on the rear axle.
