Product Description

The KONI 8045 1337 Special Active rear shock absorber is engineered as a direct replacement damping upgrade for the Mazda 3 (BM/BN) from the 2014 through 2018 model years. Featuring KONI's advanced Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology, this shock adjusts its damping response automatically based on road surface and vehicle motion, offering a refined combination of comfort and control. It smooths out bumps and irregular pavement while delivering confident handling and improved body stability in everyday and spirited driving.

Designed to pair with the stock rear suspension setup, this gas-pressurized, twin-tube shock provides consistent damping performance and durability. It installs in place of the original rear shock without requiring additional sensors, wiring, or complex adjustments. Sold individually, it's recommended to replace both rear shocks together for even suspension performance. Before installation, confirm your exact year, drivetrain, and suspension details to ensure proper fitment.
