Product Description

The KONI 8045 1232 Special Active rear shock absorber is engineered as a direct replacement rear shock for select Mini Cooper and Mini One models built between 2002 and 2008. Utilizing KONI's advanced Frequency Selective Damping technology, this shock automatically adjusts damping force based on road conditions and driver inputs, delivering a smooth, comfortable ride on uneven roads while maintaining firm control for spirited driving.

Designed to install easily in place of the original rear shock, the 8045 1232 features a gas-pressurised twin-tube design with a protective red finish for long service life. Sold individually, it's recommended to replace both rear shocks together for balanced performance. This part is ideal for enthusiasts seeking improved ride quality and handling response without adding electronic components or complicated adjustments.
