The KONI 8045-1228 Special Active Rear Shock is engineered with advanced Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to provide adaptive suspension performance that reacts to changing road conditions. This rear shock automatically adjusts damping to improve stability at higher speeds while smoothing out rough surfaces for enhanced comfort. Its twin-tube low-pressure gas design offers a balanced ride quality, reducing body motion and enhancing road holding without sacrificing everyday comfort.

This rear shock is a direct replacement for the rear suspension of 2009-2017 Volkswagen Tiguan models (excluding vehicles equipped with DCC electronic suspension).
