The KONI 8745-1402 is a Special Active (Red) front strut engineered for the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang S197 platform, covering the V6, GT, and Boss 302 (2012-2013) models across all trims and body styles - coupe and convertible. It is sold as a single strut; two units are required for a complete front axle replacement. The GT500 is not compatible. Featuring KONI's patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD/ACTIVE) Technology, this front strut automatically adjusts its damping in real time based on the frequency and magnitude of road surface inputs - controlling large body motions, cornering forces, and road undulations without any electronic sensors, driver input, or complex wiring.
