Product Description

The KONI 80-1953 is a Classic Series rear shock absorber for the 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro and 1967-1969 Pontiac Firebird equipped with multi-leaf rear springs. KONI's Classic line applies the same engineering and adjustability found in their modern shock programs to vintage F-body applications, delivering measurably better handling, road holding, and safety over worn or stock-replacement units.

The 80-1953 uses a twin-tube, non-gas design with KONI's internal rebound adjustment system -- damping is set by compressing the shock to the desired position before installation, with no external adjuster required. It installs as a direct bolt-in replacement at stock ride height using a pin bottom mount. Available in KONI Classic Red or traditional black, both featuring the iconic KONI Wing Logo. Sold individually -- order 2 for a complete rear axle. Fully rebuildable and serviceable.
