The KONI 8705-1332 is a Special ACTIVE front McPherson strut featuring the latest generation of KONI's patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology, engineered specifically for the 2014-2024 Ram ProMaster van -- and the European Fiat Ducato 250/290, Citroen Jumper, and Peugeot Boxer platform twins on which the ProMaster is based, including all Ducato-based campers and motorhomes from 2006-2024. FSD is a revolutionary damping technology that eliminates the traditional compromise between sport and comfort: the strut automatically firms up under cornering loads, hard braking, and large body motions to control the van's high center of gravity, then softens over expansion joints and rough pavement for genuine ride comfort -- all through purely hydraulic means with no electronics, sensors, or external power required.
