Key-to-Start vehicles ONLY - this kit is NOT compatible with Push-to-Start (push button) ignition systems. For 2010-2024 GM Push-to-Start vehicles, see RSGM6.
Automatic transmission only - this kit is NOT compatible with manual transmission vehicles.
Uses the factory OEM key fob for activation - press Lock three times (Lock, Unlock, Lock) to remote start. No additional remote fob is included or required.
Programming is required after installation. A Fortin FLL programmer is included, but a Windows PC with USB port is required to complete the programming process.

Product Description

The Kleinn RSGM4 is a vehicle-specific plug-and-play remote start kit for 2007-2014 Chevrolet and GMC full-size trucks and SUVs equipped with Key-to-Start ignition and automatic transmission - including the Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, and Yukon. The included GM4 T-harness connects directly to the vehicle's factory wiring connectors at the steering column with no wire cutting or splicing required, and the system activates using the factory OEM key fob by pressing Lock three times. No separate remote is needed.

Unlike Kleinn's pre-flashed Ford-specific kits, the RSGM4 requires a one-time programming step using the included Fortin FLL programmer and a Windows PC with USB port. Once programmed, each remote start cycle runs for 15 minutes. The kit is compatible with gas and diesel powertrains and works exclusively on Key-to-Start platforms - it is not compatible with Push-to-Start ignition.
