SKU:KINSPR3-14-600

MPN: SPR3-14-600

Weight: 9.6 lb

Inventory: 20

Type: Coilover Springs

Vehicle Fitment

  • Universal - fits all coilover shock absorbers with a 2.5" outside diameter body and a 3.0" spring perch seat. Compatible with King Shocks 2.5" coilovers and all other brands of 2.5" OD coilover shocks accepting a 3.0" ID spring.
  • Verify the spring seat diameter and required free length on your specific shock before ordering. This spring has a 3.0" inside diameter, 14" free length, and 600 lb/in rate.

Fitment Notes

  • The SPR3-14-600 is a 3.0" ID coilover spring designed for use on 2.5" outside diameter shock bodies. It is not compatible with 2.0" body shocks (which use the 2.5" ID SPR25 series) or 3.0" body shocks (which use the 3.75" ID SPR375 series). Confirm your shock body diameter before ordering.
  • At 14" free length and 600 lb/in, this is a heavy-rate primary spring suited for heavier vehicles, heavily loaded trucks, or aggressive off-road builds running 2.5" body shocks where high suspension loads demand a firm spring rate to control body motion under load, at speed, and over large terrain inputs. It is not appropriate for lightweight applications or as a tender spring.
  • Spring selection requires matching free length, rate, and ID to the shock travel and the vehicle's suspension geometry, weight, and intended use. Consult your suspension builder or King Shocks directly to confirm this spring is correct for your specific configuration.
  • Sold individually - one spring per order. Most coilover applications require two or more springs per build; order the quantity needed.
  • The spring rate of 600 lb/in is etched directly into the top coil for clear identification after installation and hard use.

Features

  • 600 lb/in linear spring rate - a heavy primary rate that delivers firm, authoritative body motion control under the high suspension loads generated by heavier vehicles, aggressive driving, and large off-road terrain inputs on 2.5" body shocks; appropriate for performance trucks, heavier UTVs, and desert racing builds where vehicle weight, added payload, or sustained high-speed running demands a spring rate that prevents bottoming under load without relying on bump stop intervention
  • 14" free length - a mid-length dimension providing adequate working travel for primary-spring single-rate applications on 2.5" body shocks, compatible with the spring perch geometry of standard 2.5" coilover builds running this rate range
  • Wound specifically for off-road applications from the ground up - not repackaged automotive or industrial springs. King designs spring rate, wire diameter, and coil geometry exclusively for off-road suspension use, with every specification validated through real-world competition testing from Baja to Dakar
  • High-tensile chrome silicon wire - the highest grade spring wire material, providing the tensile strength and fatigue resistance necessary to maintain a consistent 600 lb/in rate under the sustained high-load, high-cycle demands of off-road performance driving without sag or rate degradation over time
  • Closed and ground ends - both ends are precision ground flat for square, stable seating on spring perches without rocking, cocking, or producing lateral side loads on the shock shaft; correct seating is particularly important at higher spring rates where off-axis loads are amplified
  • Blue powdercoat finish - provides corrosion resistance and visual identification within King's color-coded spring lineup; durable against rock chips, trail debris, mud, and UV exposure in off-road environments
  • Spring rate etched on top coil - permanently etched into the metal before powdercoat application, remaining legible after installation and extended field use for rate confirmation without spring removal
  • Compatible with King Shocks and all other brands of 2.5" OD coilover shocks - the SPR3 series is a universal spring line, not exclusive to King shock bodies
  • Made in USA - manufactured to King Shocks' specifications using domestic production processes and materials
  • Lifetime warranty against sagging and breakage - King covers these springs for life to the original purchaser; in the rare event of failure, replacement is provided with no questions asked

Product Description

The King Shocks SPR3-14-600 is a 3.0" inside diameter, 14" free length, 600 lb/in linear coilover spring for use on 2.5" outside diameter shock bodies. It is a universal spring compatible with King Shocks 2.5" coilovers and all other brands of 2.5" OD coilover shocks that accept a 3.0" ID spring. Sold individually. Made in USA. Lifetime warranty against sagging and breakage.

The 600 lb/in rate makes this a heavy primary spring intended for applications where vehicle weight, payload, or aggressive off-road use generates the high suspension loads that lighter spring rates cannot control. On 2.5" body shocks in performance trucks, heavier UTVs, and high-speed desert racing applications, the 600 lb/in rate provides the firm body motion control needed to prevent bottoming under sustained load and to maintain consistent ride height and suspension geometry at speed across rough terrain. The 14" free length provides working travel appropriate for single-rate primary configurations on 2.5" body coilovers in this rate range.

Like all King coilover springs, the SPR3-14-600 is wound from high-tensile chrome silicon wire developed exclusively for off-road use - not repurposed from automotive or industrial spring stock. The higher spring rate demands consistent wire quality and manufacturing precision to maintain the stated rate under sustained load cycles without sag; King's chrome silicon wire and USA production standards deliver the rate accuracy and durability that off-road competition requires. Closed and ground ends ensure flat, square seating, and the rate is permanently etched into the top coil for field identification.
