Vehicle Fitment

  • 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra (2WD and 4WD | All cab styles and trims | Gas engine variants)

Fitment Notes

  • Compatible with all 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra configurations equipped with the factory suspension geometry, including 2WD and 4WD drivetrains across all cab and bed configurations.
  • Does not fit the 2022+ Toyota Tundra (new-generation platform), which uses a different front suspension architecture.
  • This is the standard 25001-143 without a compression adjuster. For the same coilover with a 16-position Wide Range Compression Adjuster knob, see King Shocks 25001-143A. For extended travel versions designed for use with aftermarket extended-travel UCAs, see King Shocks 25001-143-EXT or 25001-143A-EXT.
  • Designed for bolt-on installation on stock or custom lifted applications - no cutting, welding, or modification to the vehicle is required.
  • Provides 2.75-3.25 inches of front lift with adjustable ride height - actual lift achieved depends on spring preload setting.
  • Front coilovers provide up to a 25% increase in front wheel travel over the factory shock/spring configuration.
  • Sold as a pair - covers both driver and passenger side front coilover positions.

Features

  • 2.5" shock body diameter - the same large-body format used in King's race shocks - dramatically increases fluid volume and heat dissipation capacity over the factory shock's smaller bore, delivering sustained damping performance during repeated high-speed off-road use, towing, and trail driving without the fade that affects smaller-diameter OEM replacements
  • External remote reservoir in hard anodized 6063 aluminum alloy provides additional fluid capacity and heat dissipation independent of the main shock body - the reservoir communicates with the main shock cylinder through high-quality Aeroquip high-pressure hose fittings that are both kink-resistant and abrasion-resistant
  • Shock cylinder precision bored to ±.001" tolerance and honed after cadmium plating for a tight piston seal - maintaining consistent damping performance and minimal internal leakage over the shock's service life
  • Heat-treated 6061 aluminum alloy piston with King's proprietary port configurations delivers the tuned damping curve developed specifically for the 2007-2021 Tundra's weight, suspension geometry, and intended use - matching factory responsiveness for light-load daily driving while providing measurably improved control under load, off-road, and at higher speed
  • 3/4" or 7/8" diameter hard-chrome and micro-polished (6 RA finish) shaft provides a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 PSI and an optimally smooth sealing surface that extends seal life over the shock's service life
  • Rulon composite wear bands with an overlapping end design offer excellent wear resistance, low deformation under load, and enhanced sealing - significantly outperforming standard PTFE or Teflon wear bands in durability and seal performance
  • Proprietary truncated thread design on the coilover body provides superior clamping strength and trouble-free preload and ride height adjustments compared to standard threads
  • Pinch bolt coil adjuster nut provides superior clamping force to retain spring preload adjustments without the thread-crushing risk associated with set screw-style collars
  • Blue powdercoated 600 lb/in chrome silicon wire springs (closed and ground to sit flat) provide precise, deflection-true spring behavior with zero side-load issues - the same spring quality found in King's race-level coilovers
  • Fully rebuildable, serviceable, and tunable - all internal components are user-accessible for valve adjustment with simple hand tools, rebuild service, or custom revalving by King Shocks technicians
  • Billet 6061 aluminum alloy components machined from aircraft-quality stock at King's facility in Garden Grove, California
  • Hand built in the USA by King Shocks' experienced shock technicians to the same quality standards as their race products
  • Includes all necessary vehicle-specific hardware and detailed installation instructions for a complete bolt-on installation

Product Description

The King Shocks 25001-143 is a pair of 2.5" OEM Performance Series front coilovers with external remote reservoirs for the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra (2WD and 4WD). The kit provides 2.75-3.25 inches of adjustable front lift, up to 25% more front wheel travel than the factory setup, and King's race-derived damping performance in a 100% bolt-on installation with no cutting or welding required. Sold as a complete pair covering both front positions. This is the standard version without a compression adjuster - for the adjuster version, see King Shocks 25001-143A.

King's OEM Performance Series was developed specifically to close the gap between factory truck shocks - which are engineered for cost and noise suppression, not performance - and King's full race shock lineup. The 2.5" shock body diameter common to race shocks provides dramatically more fluid volume and heat capacity than the factory Tundra shock's narrower bore, and the external remote reservoir adds a fully independent second volume of fluid that communicates through Aeroquip high-pressure hoses - eliminating the shock fade that occurs in sealed single-chamber shocks when fluid overheats under sustained load. The result is consistent damping performance whether the Tundra is on-road, towing at highway speed, navigating a rock field at trail speeds, or hammering down a washboard road at 50 mph.

Every 25001-143 kit is hand built at King Shocks' facility in Garden Grove, California, using the same aircraft-quality 6061 aluminum billet components, Rulon composite wear bands, chrome silicon springs, and precision-bored shock cylinders found in King's race products. The design is fully rebuildable and tunable - valve stacks are accessible with simple hand tools for owner adjustments, and King's technicians are available for custom revalving, custom spring rates, and complete rebuilds as part of the shock's ongoing service life. Nothing rides like a King.
