  • 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Final Edition (4B11T, 2.0L DOHC Turbo MIVEC, AWD)
  • 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart (4B11T, 2.0L DOHC Turbo MIVEC, AWD)
  • 2007-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X JDM / Global (4B11T, 2.0L DOHC Turbo MIVEC, AWD)

Fitment Notes

  • Fits Mitsubishi 4B11T turbocharged 2.0L engine only - does not fit the naturally aspirated 4B11 (non-turbo Lancer)
  • STDX size = standard crankshaft diameter with +0.001" (0.026mm) extra oil clearance - no crankshaft machining required
  • STDX shells are 0.0005" thinner than STD to open up clearance; preferred for high-boost and built 4B11T applications targeting looser oil clearance for improved flow and reduced heat buildup
  • For standard oil clearance on a stock crank, use CR4586XPC (STD); for tighter clearance, use CR4586XPC.026
  • Plain bearing halves (no dowel pin) - all halves are plain per King specification

Features

  • pMaxKote nano-composite polymer coating applied as a factory fourth layer over pMax Black overlay - enhances wear, seizure, and cavitation resistance without adding wall thickness
  • pMax Black tri-metal overlay is 24% harder than conventional race bearings via a proprietary nano-scale molecular hardening process
  • STDX extra clearance sizing delivers +0.001" additional oil clearance over STD - ideal for high-boost 4B11T builds targeting improved oil flow and reduced friction at the rod journal
  • Superior protection against oil starvation - critical for turbocharged Evo X applications under aggressive track and circuit use
  • XP-series narrowed crank cheek profile eliminates fillet ride on high-radius aftermarket crankshafts
  • Wall thickness tolerance held to ±0.0001" for shell-to-shell consistency and minimal selective fitting during assembly
  • Increased crush height improves bearing-to-bore contact and reduces spin potential at high RPM

Specifications

  • Part Number: CR4586XPCSTDX
  • Bearing Type: Connecting Rod Bearing Set
  • Series: XPC (pMax Black + pMaxKote polymer coating)
  • Material: Tri-metal pMax Black with factory-applied pMaxKote nano-composite polymer coating over steel backing

Product Description

The King CR4586XPCSTDX is an STDX-size XPC-series connecting rod bearing set engineered for the Mitsubishi 4B11T turbocharged 2.0L engine as found in the Lancer Evolution X (2008-2015) and Lancer Ralliart. The STDX designation means these bearings fit a stock, unground crankshaft while providing +0.001" (0.026mm) more oil clearance than standard STD shells - achieved through shells that are 0.0005" thinner. This makes them the preferred choice for high-output 4B11T builds where builders target slightly looser oil clearance to improve lubrication flow and reduce heat buildup at the rod journal under sustained boost.

Like the STD version, the XPC coating combines King's pMax Black tri-metal overlay - 24% harder than conventional race bearings - with a factory-applied pMaxKote nano-composite polymer coating that adds a fourth protective layer. This coating enhances wear resistance and seizure protection during periods of marginal lubrication without altering the bearing's precision wall thickness. No crankshaft machining is required for STDX fitment. Builders who prefer standard clearance on a stock crank should select CR4586XPC, while those seeking tighter clearance should use CR4586XPC.026.
