Using King's pMaxBlack tri-metal structure - 24% harder than conventional race bearings with up to 10,200 PSI load capacity - the MB4508XP is the performance-grade upgrade over the OE-replacement MB4508SI for builds running forged steel crankshafts or sustained high-output use.

As a standard-size set, the MB4508XP fits J-Series crankshafts at factory journal diameter. Key XP geometric upgrades over the SI Series include enlarged chamfered oil holes for improved journal lubrication, a narrowed design for large-radius crankshaft clearance, and SecureBond adhesion to prevent layer delamination under race RPM.
