Vehicle Fitment

• Universal - designed specifically to integrate into the KC Platform One™ (PL1) Roof Rack's side light rail channels. No vehicle-specific fitment restrictions apply to the lights themselves, but primary installation is intended for vehicles equipped with a KC Platform One™ rack. Vehicle-specific wiring harnesses are sold separately for plug-and-play installation.

Fitment Notes

• The 98150 is designed to flush-mount into the hidden side light channels of the KC Platform One™ (PL1) Roof Rack. This kit does not include the PL1 Roof Rack - the rack must be purchased separately. The lights are designed to install within the rack's side rails for a seamless, factory-finish appearance.
• KC strongly recommends installing the SideCast lights during the initial PL1 rack assembly. Adding them after the rack is mounted to the vehicle requires partial disassembly or additional effort to route wiring through the rack's hidden channels.
• Vehicle-specific wiring harnesses for the Platform One SideCast system are sold separately (examples: KC #92403 for 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab, #92404 for 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab, #92401 for 2024-2025 Land Cruiser LC250/Lexus GX550). Select the appropriate harness for your vehicle and KC's Power-Ready™ plug-and-play installation.
• The 98150 works with KC's Power-Ready™ wiring ecosystem. A harness is required for full plug-and-play installation - without a harness, custom wiring will be necessary.

Product Description

The KC HiLiTES 98150 is the Profile 10" SideCast™ (P10SC) Flush Mount Light Kit - a four-light LED system engineered specifically to integrate into the hidden side rail channels of the KC Platform One™ (PL1) Roof Rack. Each 10" light bar uses advanced BiasBeam™ TIR optics to project side illumination from +10° above to -50° below the horizon, delivering focused downward lateral light output for campsite illumination, trailside repairs, and obstacle detection during slow-speed off-road use. Each light also features DualColor output, allowing the driver to switch between white LED and amber LED modes for different conditions and environments. The rack is not included - vehicle-specific Power-Ready™ wiring harnesses are sold separately for plug-and-play installation.

The design philosophy of the P10SC is precision illumination where it matters most: directly alongside and below the vehicle. Traditional forward-facing light bars provide long-range driving illumination but are useless for the critical tasks that off-road and overland drivers actually face most often - setting up camp in the dark, working on the vehicle at the side of the trail, spotting rocks and ruts during rock crawling, and navigating tight switchbacks and shelf roads where the ground immediately beside the vehicle is the primary hazard. The BiasBeam™ pattern's +10° to -50° vertical arc puts the bulk of the light output directly onto this zone with minimal spill in unproductive directions.

The flush-mount integration into the PL1 rack's side channels eliminates the exposed profile that makes traditional auxiliary lighting vulnerable to trail damage - the lights sit recessed within the rack's structure, protected by the rack's geometry, and present a factory-coherent appearance that preserves the Platform One's low-drag profile.
