The K&N 66-1101 X-Stream Airflow Top Plate is a universal performance upgrade designed to replace the flat, restrictive lid of any 11-inch round air cleaner assembly. Unlike a standard air cleaner top that simply caps the filter housing, the X-Stream design incorporates K&N's signature oiled cotton gauze filter media directly into the top plate panel. This allows air to enter the air cleaner from above in addition to the sides, increasing the total volume of air available to the engine and improving airflow efficiency through the carburetor or throttle body. The result is a measurable increase in airflow capacity from the existing round air cleaner setup without the need to replace the entire assembly.

The 66-1101 features an ABS plastic construction with black powder-coated trim and embossed K&N logos for a clean, purposeful appearance in the engine bay. The integrated cotton gauze media is pre-oiled and ready for immediate use, and like all K&N filter media, it is fully washable and reusable using K&N's standard Recharger cleaning kit - eliminating the need for replacement parts over the life of the product.
