Product Description

The K&N RU-5163 is a high-flow universal clamp-on round tapered air filter purpose-built for installations requiring a large 5-inch intake flange in an extremely compact height. At just 4.125 inches tall with a 6.5-inch base - the same footprint as the taller RU-5147 - this filter maximizes surface area while fitting in engine bays with very limited vertical clearance above the intake tube. Despite its squat profile, its cotton gauze media flows significantly more air than any paper element, delivering sharper throttle response and measurable horsepower gains.

The centered 5.00 in. rubber flange mounts securely onto matching intake tubes, absorbs vibration, and can be stretched slightly to fit in-between sizes. For applications requiring even greater dust protection, K&N also offers the RU-5163XD with identical dimensions but Extreme Duty XD cotton media. Washable and reusable, the RU-5163 arrives pre-oiled and only needs cleaning every 75,000 miles under normal conditions. Made in the USA and backed by K&N's 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty.
