The K&N RU-5288 is a high-flow universal clamp-on round tapered air filter purpose-built for the tightest vertical clearance situations in K&N's universal cone lineup. At just 3 inches tall with a 6-inch base tapering to 4.625 inches at the top, it provides substantial cotton gauze surface area while fitting into spaces where even compact cone filters are too tall. This ultra-flat profile makes it ideal for engine bays or intake routing configurations where vertical hood or component clearance is severely limited but a 3-inch intake tube and wide filter diameter are still required.

The centered 3.00 in. rubber flange mounts securely onto matching intake tubes, absorbs vibration, and can be stretched slightly to fit in-between sizes.
