Product Description

The K&N 33-2678 is a direct-fit, high-flow replacement air filter for Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the M119 4.2L or 5.0L V8 engine, spanning the W124 E-Class, W140 S-Class and CL-Class coupe, and R129 SL-Class roadster from 1990 through 2001. All of these platforms share the same airbox design for this engine family, allowing a single filter to serve the full lineup. It installs directly into the factory airbox with no cutting, drilling, or modifications required.

The multi-layer oiled cotton gauze construction delivers significantly greater airflow than a standard paper element while maintaining effective filtration to protect the M119 V8. Designed to be cleaned and re-oiled every 75,000 miles rather than replaced, it is a long-term, cost-effective upgrade that is emissions legal in all 50 U.S. states and will not void the manufacturer's warranty.
