Product Description

The K&N 57-0047 is a 57i Series Performance Induction Kit designed specifically for the 1990-1993 Mazda Miata NA with the 1.6L B6ZE engine. The factory airbox on these Miatas restricts the volume of air available to the engine by limiting filter size to the available housing. The K&N 57i system eliminates this restriction by replacing the airbox entirely with a larger conical oiled cotton gauze filter that has significantly more surface area, allowing a greater volume of cooler, denser air to reach the engine throughout the RPM range.

The kit uses a black flex hose and intake pipe assembly to route air from the filter to the throttle body, with all adapters constructed from high-quality steel, aluminum, silicone, or reinforced nylon for long-term durability. The K&N High-Flow filter requires no replacement -- only periodic cleaning, typically up to 100,000 miles between services. Not legal for sale or use in California or states adopting California emissions standards. Does not fit 1994+ US-market Miata, which uses the 1.8L engine. Backed by K&N's No-Hassle Lifetime Limited Warranty.
