Its large tapered cone profile - 7.50 inches at the base narrowing to 5.00 inches at the top over a 10-inch height - delivers an enormous cotton gauze surface area to support the most extreme intake flow demands while still maintaining excellent contaminant filtration. The multi-layer oiled construction flows significantly more air than any paper element of comparable size.
