The K&N 33-2945 is a direct-fit, high-flow replacement air filter for B8-platform Audi vehicles equipped with the 1.8L or 2.0L TFSI four-cylinder engine, covering the A4 Sedan and Avant, A4 allroad Quattro, A5 Coupe/Cabriolet/Sportback, and Q5. All of these models share the same airbox configuration for the four-cylinder engine family, making this a single filter solution across Audi's compact and midsize B8 lineup from 2009 through 2017. It drops directly into the factory airbox with no cutting, drilling, or modifications required.

The multi-layer oiled cotton gauze construction delivers significantly greater airflow than a standard paper element while maintaining effective filtration for the turbocharged TFSI engine. Designed to be cleaned and re-oiled every 75,000 miles rather than replaced, it is a long-term, cost-effective upgrade that is emissions legal in all 50 U.S. states and will not void the manufacturer's warranty. Note: this filter is specific to the 1.8L and 2.0L four-cylinder B8 models - V6-powered variants and the newer B9-generation A4 and FY-generation Q5 require different filters.
