Product Description

The K&N 57-1526 Performance Air Intake System is designed to replace the restrictive factory air intake on 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee models equipped with the 4.0L L6 engine. This system features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded intake tube that increases airflow to the engine, resulting in a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. The oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter™ utilizes oiled cotton media and allows for up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions.

The included custom heat shield protects intake air from the high temperature of the engine bay, ensuring cooler air enters the engine for optimal performance. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in less than 90 minutes using commonly available tools.
