Product Description

The K&N 57-3022-2 57 Series FIPK Cold Air Intake is engineered for 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models equipped with the naturally aspirated 5.7L LS1 V8 engine. The system replaces the restrictive factory air intake with a rotationally molded HDPE intake tube, a custom heat shield, and an oversized washable High-Flow Air Filter to improve airflow and engine efficiency. K&N dyno testing demonstrates gains of up to 14.73 horsepower and 14.6 lb-ft of torque while enhancing throttle response and acceleration.

Designed as a direct-fit performance upgrade, the intake retains the factory MAF sensor and accommodates the factory intake air temperature sensor and air injection hose where applicable. The reusable oiled cotton air filter provides excellent filtration and can operate for up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. The 57-3022-2 is 50-state street legal under CARB Executive Order D-269-20 and installs using factory mounting points with no permanent modifications required.
