Product Description

The K&N 57-2541 Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air intake system in the 1997-2003 Ford F-150 and 1997-2002 Ford Expedition models equipped with 4.6L or 5.4L V8 engines. This system utilizes a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded intake tube to increase airflow to the engine, resulting in an estimated gain of 13.12 horsepower and 15.1 lb-ft of torque.

The oversized, washable, and reusable oiled cotton air filter (RU-5046) allows for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to protect the intake air from the high temperatures of the engine bay, ensuring cooler, denser air enters the engine for improved performance.

Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in 60 minutes or less using simple hand tools. The system is backed by K&N's No-Hassle Lifetime Warranty™ and is legal for use in all 50 states, carrying CARB EO D-269-37 certification.
